At MADE New Dog Rescue, we are dedicated to saving and improving the lives of dogs in need. Through our adoptions and their stories, we strive to provide a second chance to every dog that comes through our foster homes. Our team of passionate individuals work tirelessly to ensure that each dog receives the love, care, and attention they deserve. Dallas and Alesia Downs are the founders of MADE New Dog Rescue. They have spent years dedicating their love and time into saving lives of our companion dogs and cats. As they grow their family, they also grow in the rescue, helping to provide many new begins for little lives and to further grow your family as well!
This incredible mission would not be possible without you! From the generous donors, volunteers, fosters, and all of you who adopt each and every day, we are able to save countless lives and continue on our journey to provide each animal with their forever home, and each home with its missing piece of love! Leave No One Behind…
Friday morning, I was contacted by a friend who had another friend in a nearby town that knew a fellow veteran who was struggling to make ends meet. One of his biggest concerns was being able to buy food for the dog he loves and cares for so much.
I reached out to one of my friends at Made New Dog Rescue and shared this veteran’s story. Before the sun went down Friday night, volunteers from the organization, without my knowledge, had dropped off dog food, treats, and supplies on my front porch.
Yesterday morning, I drove to the veteran’s home and delivered everything to him. He was extremely grateful.
We talked for quite some time, and I truly believe that through God’s guidance and the resources I shared with him, he now has a new path and a renewed sense of hope.

People often ask why I foster dogs. The truth is, it’s become so much more than helping animals—it’s become a part of who I am.
Fostering isn’t always easy, but every sleepless night and every goodbye is worth it when you see a scared dog find love and a forever home.
One of the greatest gifts has been the amazing people I’ve met along the way. Rescue brings together some of the most compassionate, selfless people, and I’m so grateful to be part of this community.
Every foster leaves a paw print on my heart and reminds me why I keep saying “yes” to the next one. My home may only be a stop on their journey, but being part of their fresh start is something I’ll always be thankful for!
